In 2015, our foundation concluded a framework agreement on partnership for three years with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). In the framework of this agreement between the years of 2015-2017, we launched a competition for research scholarship for the teachers of University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș (MOGYE). The main objective of this was supporting the scientific research activity of the teachers of University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș.
We supported researches in the field of experimental and clinical medicine, pharmacy and dentistry with EUR 10000 per applicant the most. The applicants had to be full time, part-time and would be teachers of University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș in research groups of minimum 4, maximum 6 members and with group leader, PI, of assistant professor or lecturer. Among the members of the group there compulsorily had to be at least one PhD student or a student. Aid granting was decided by a committee named by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) and Studium–Prospero Foundation. On annual average there were 15 groups applying for the research proposal. During the two years of calls, 14 research groups were supported with a total of EUR 123.387.
